Lucy (vormals Maske)
Hi,
my name is Lucy. I have lived with my new English family, in Austria, for just over 3 months. I have a big garden where I can run around and play. I go on lots of walks in the mountains every day. I also go to a dog training school twice a week. I was not so happy there to start with and decided to bark the whole time. I now know that all the things I am learning make my life so much better. I get lots of treats when I complete all the commands my owners give me. I also have a test next week, I hope I pass!
I am a good guard dog and like to warn people at the door before they enter. I am well behaved when they arrive, just as long as they give me some fuss and attention. I do not like it when people ignore me, as I feel I am quite important! I like to have lots of fresh air and watch the deer that live in the field by our garden. I also love to see the ducks floating along the river at the end of the garden. I like to chase all the insects too.
I have lots of toys that I play with. I have a special cushion in our lounge, just for me. I also have a basket in a room in our cellar. I like to sleep in the cellar as it is cool. I also get a treat every time I go to the cellar, so I make a dash for my basket every evening.
I am really happy that Carol Byers and Animal Care Austria saved me and found me a new home. Thank you to you all. I was very scared to start with and very timid and quiet. I am now so happy that I am quite lively and loud too at times. I do have a big bark even though I am quite small!!
