Dear Natalie,

I wanted to give you a little update on Moon’s first day with me 😊

It has only been about 9 hours, but so far everything has gone really well!
When I went to pick him up, he actually came running towards me and jumped up to greet me, so I really think he remembered me from our first meeting. That was such a nice way to start the day. 😊

Before leaving, we went for a little walk to see if he wanted to do his business, although he didn’t. The drive home was also completely uneventful — he stayed calmly on the back seat with his safety belt the whole way, without barking or crying.

As soon as we arrived, he started exploring the apartment and checking everything out. He has eaten well, played a little, enjoyed a chew and has already found some comfortable spots to relax.

Of course, everything is still very new and we have only just started getting to know each other at home, so I’m giving him time to explore and settle in at his own pace. But I’m really happy with how relaxed and curious he has been so far.

I’ll keep you updated over the next few days as he settles in.
