Cleopatra
Cleopatra, queen of (our) hearts
Cleopatra was saved from the death row in Hungary, and was delivered by an American opera singer to my Colombian family in Vienna. One would say that the life story of our dog has very little to do with the last Egyptian Pharaoh. And come to think about it, our Cleopatra looks more like the Egyptian god Anubis: her shiny black hair is almost blue . But this beautiful Black German shepherd mix also has a seduction power like the real Cleopatra and thus captivated us since the first moment we saw her. This rather big dog was given to us by Animal Care, Austria and to our surprise, she was already well trained. This means that she can not only follow the normal commands (sitz, platz, pfote, etc) but can also jump hurdles very well and most importantly, is very obedient. She stays home alone (when needed) without any problems and is extremely gentle to my two children. We had our reservations due to the size of the dog but we found out that big dogs are not only very resilient, but can wait long periods of time without having to be taken
